Read the Google Doodle
article about Emily Noether's accomplishments on her 133rd birthday, and write
one paragraph describing a challenge that you've had to face in order to
achieve a goal. Compare a specific instance in your life to a difficulty Noether
must have been confronted with, and argue why you will also succeed in your
pursuits.
I was once
in a physics class. Math and science are two of my least favorite subjects but
I knew I had to do my best in order to maintain the GPA I have. Being in a
class that combined two subjects I was not advanced in made it difficult for me
to keep up and pass the class. Noether enjoyed physics but I’m sure there were
times where she felt like she just couldn’t solve a problem. Just because she
was good at the subject doesn’t mean it was a piece of cake for her, so I
understand how Noether must’ve felt before. However, I overcame the obstacle’s
I encountered and in the end I had a few inventions that I was proud of. I made
headphones using recyclable products and I also built a two-story house model
with a box and inserted real light switches to make it light up without using a
wall outlet.
